Handwriting found
under the tin!

The remaining plaster & lath - most was removed during early 1900's "rebuild" adding the exterior buttresses. The plaster, incl. plaster chalk boards, were uncovered when tin was removed. Handwriting & music notations were generally dated during 1897/1898. 1898 was the last year Blue Hill Academy operated independently. The Oct 1904 date noted was during the "rebuild" period.
