MONTHLY MEETINGS - 2nd Monday of the month when held. Location: see calendar
We hold monthly meetings (very informal). Please see the calendar for location when held and any specifics. Locations will change since we have no power, heat and the condition of the interior - while destruction/construction is in work - makes it impractical to hold meetings there. Other locations will be identified on the site when a meeting is held.
MEMORIAL DAY PARADES - Muster at 0930 with parade start at 1000
FLAGS FOR BLUE HILL - US Flags placed on Main Roads in Blue Hill.
CEMETERY FLAGS AND MARKERS - Placement/replacement of Flags & Service Markers - Blue Hill Cemeteries
DIRIGO STATE - Annual American Legion Dirigo State, for GSA Juniors. Post pays tuition for two - or more if there is interest!
BUILDING PRESERVATION - Preservation funding of the Legion Hall!
1. The current effort will cost over $600,000.
2. NO funding comes from the American Legion, the State, the Town or any building preservation entity!
FLAG DROP BOX - To properly remove American Flags from service. Drop box is located on the porch of the Legion building.
Contact us for details. American flags only - no state flags, bunting, wood or poles please!
Other funding is needed to support veterans in need and activities of the Post Service Officer.

The Legion's building is 190 years old, with lots of work on it to be done.
We started at the top & at the bottom - the roof & our 1st well.
